Want to Know some Interesting Facts about the American Black Bear?

 

 

A single parent: The bear is bringing up her young for about 18 months. During this period, she teaches them to survive and to be wary of predators such as humans, lynx, cougars and bears adults. The cubs leave the den in April and are weaned in early summer. They spent the following winter with their mother and the third winter, share a den with their brothers and sisters or hibernate alone.
